Jordanite Animal

We picked the Snow Leopard as our Jordanite animal because it shows off our courage, gracefulness, beauty, strength, power, and aggressiveness that our society has and needs to be successful in life and on the basketball court.

Journal Entries

Day One,

Wow today I arrived in this new place called Jordanites. There society separated because they were tired of dealing with all the hate, fighting, injustices, and segregation. That sounded like a great plan to get away from all of that nonsense. So here I am now. According to schedule I wake up at nine in the morning. I no longer attend school so I go to work. My job is a secretary to one of the 17 professional basketball coaches. Today I had to schedule a bus for their upcoming game.

Day Two,

The team I work for won their last game and is now in the playoffs. So helping prepare things for that is keeping me busy right now. Elections are this week. I really don't mind who becomes President because both candidates are more than qualified to help continue things as they currently are.

Day Three,

Breaking news! A new medical advancement was made today that will forever change heart surgeries. It never ceases to surprise me about how much more advanced this utopia is. They really have their priorities right. Also the playoffs begin tonight. So now I must get back to my job.

Rules

1. Every house is to have a basketball court. We do this so every person can be taught how to live the Jordanite standard.

2. You are to give every member freedom of sport. Just because our national sport and everything we do is based off basketball we want everyone to be happy. So we will let everyone choose a sport they want to play.

3. Every member is to know the rules of basketball, how to play basketball, and who Micheal Jordan is to be apart of society. We have this law because our society is based on basketball. If someone doesn't know these things they won't understand how our society works.

4. Every member is to have received at least a high school diploma. We have this law because a society is only as strong as its weakest link. If everyone didn't have a high school education or beyond we would be pushed around by other societies.

5. Everyone is to be outside doing something for at least 2 hours for 6 days a week. Unless you are injured, sick, or dieing. We want our society members to get to know new people and make new friends. We also want our society members to stay in shape.

6. Every member is to obey the basic human laws. Like no killing, no stealing, no drugs, no alcohol, no cheating, and no immoral material, etc. If we didn't have these laws our society wouldn't be safe.

7. If a member breaks a law they will be given a trial. If they are guilty of breaking a major law they are to be kicked out of the society. If they are guilty of a small crime they are to be given a 2nd chance. If they break a law again they are to be kicked out of the society as well. This law is to make it so people actually obey the laws.

8. Everyone here in this community is counted as an equal and is to be treated with respect. This law is to keep segregation and discrimination from happening. We invite all people to come to our society and will treat them as equals.

9. Everyone has the right to vote for who they fill is going to best represent them. This is part of our democratic republic government giving power to the people to choose their leaders.

10. No fowl or inappropriate language will be tolerated. Our society doesn't need to say fowl or inappropriate language because we are better than that.

Governing Body

This government will be structured the same as a Democratic Republic. There are open elections where anyone that is 18 years or older can vote on who they want as a leader. The leader does not have full power. There is a system of checks and balances. Its where the president is checked by the legislative branch and judicial branch. The legislative branch will be checked by the president and the judicial branch. The judicial branch will be checked by the president and the legislative branch.
The legislative branch will make the laws that they think are important for the people at the time. They will then pass it to the president for approval. If the president doesn't approve he can veto that law and send it back the the legislative branch. The legislative branch then can re vote on the law and if 2/3 of the legislative branch agree on the law it then becomes a law. The judicial branch has the power to check the laws that the legislative branch and the president pass to make sure that they are good laws and they don't violate any other laws.

Jordanites

We picked the name of Jordanites in honor of Micheal Jordan. Who demonstrates how our society is suppose to act by how he acted on the court.

Jordanite Statute of Independance

We the people of Jordanite declare a standard to all the world. That we will live by this standard to the end of our lives. Jordanites will live basketball all the time. But the concepts taught on the court are carried out into our utopia. Everyone is allowed to have differing opinions but sportsmanship is required. We have freedom of speech but with that comes the requirement to respect all other views. A team is only as strong as the weakest player. Same goes for within Jordanite community. Due to that everyone is expected to help one another to help raise the standard to a more desirable level. There will be judges that call out any foul play between contrasting ideas. There are written out laws on how everything works and when violated just penalties will be taken. But it is also taken in the actual context of the situation. Basketball is our national sport which is a model to how we will forever live.
We decided to become an independent society because of all the fighting, hate, segregation, and unfairness that was in the other society. So we created a society where we don't have to live with all that hate and unfairness ever again.
This forms a more perfect society because it is modeled after a sport. All sports work very efficiently and are structured to the point where everyone knows what is expected of them. Currently in the United States it is pretty common for people to use the laws that protect the people as a way to get gain from others. In sports that is very hard if not all together impossible to accomplish. This utopia will have everyone help each other rise to the occasion to take on life and give a more unified feeling. Everyone striving for a common objective.

Seal

This is our seal this is showing and reminding the people of Jordanites what to be like. Which is how Micheal Jordan acted on the court. This is also to remind people that this society is striving to reach greater heights.http://airjordan-jumpman23.blogspot.com/2009/02/air-jordan-jumpman-23_18.html

Motto

Why Not? Just do it!
This is our motto because it represents how the people of Jordanite look at things. They look at things with a positive attitude. They go into things with a determination to complete that task which has been placed in front of them.
